Duke

I think that the use of iPods in schools is a great idea. Many universities have started using "iTunes U." There are six schools that have participated in a pilot program with Apple called iTunes U. Duke, Brown, Stanford, the University of Michigan, The university of Michigan, The university of Wisconsin-Madison, and the University of Missouri School of Journalism. http://cit.duke.edu/pdf/reports/ipod_initiative_04_05.pdf

Duke University used iPods in a variety of different ways. Some are to post lectures and other materials that can be available to download to your iPod, Class recording, studying, and storing files and being able to transfer files. Using iPods has been a positive experience for some universities. One positive outcome was the increase in class attendance. Using this technology has increase the students desire to learn.
